Homemade Soaps!!

I have been spending the last few weeks soaping! Here are two that are ready. The first is orange and tea tree and the second is black raspberry vanilla, colored with beet, spinach and carrot powders.  These are available on my Etsy shop.

Orange & Tea Tree

The scent of orange essential oil has a calming, anti-depressive effect.
Orange essential oil has also been used for centuries as a treatment to alleviate acne, dermatitis and eczema. Sweet orange oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties

Tea tree oil can help beat body odor. Offensive body odor is caused by bacteria on the skin. Antibacterial soaps can help resolve body odor, as can soaps containing tea tree oil, which is antimicrobial. Bathing regularly with this soap can help diminish the bacteria that leads to body odor. The tea tree oil in soap also has a fresh, invigorating, clean scent

Tea tree oil can clear up acne, helping to create naturally glowing smooth skin. Tea tree oil helps control blemishes without being overly drying for the skin

Black Raspberry Vanilla

Beet root powder is known for its high levels of nutrients; containing beta carotene, vitamin B5, vitamin B1, vitamin C, glycine, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, selenium, tryptophan, tyrosine, and zinc.

Popeye loves it, and so should everyone! Spinach leaf is packed full of vitamins A, C, B1, B3, B6, and K. Spinach leaf also contains protein, iron, manganese, calcium, phosphorus, beta-carotene, potassium, carotenoids, chlorophyll, antioxidants, and Phytochemicals. Extremely nourishing to the skin, hair, and nails.

Carrot powder is used in natural cosmetic formulations because it repairs and tones the skin, reduces wrinkles and scars, improves circulation, increases elasticity, and provides the skin with beta carotene, which is an antioxidant. Carrot powder contains the following vitamins and minerals to nourish your skin: Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, E, K, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium.
